“As a seasoned installer of 10+ years with the help being raised within the sign/vinyl industry, even at a young age I wanted to further my knowledge of digital art. That became a reality in 2009 when I graduated from the Portland Art Institute with a bachelor’s degree in media arts. Taking the knowledge that I had accumulated, it was then applied to my already vinyl installation skills, which helped me to break into the vinyl wrap industry and become an apprentice for Smart Wrap in Phoenix, AZ. For the next couple of years, I perfected my skill of wrapping full vehicles of all sorts, as well as getting my certification with Avery Dennison Wrap Institute, instructed by Justin Pate.
After moving back home to NW Oregon, I obtained a position of lead installer with PDX Wraps. Over the course of 8 years of lead installer, supervisor, and instructor, I took my installation skill to a whole new level of quality and efficiency. During that time, I enhanced my skill by taking the Advanced Color Change Wrap Class by the Wrap Institute, which honed in on perfecting my color changes and specialty vinyl’s.
Pursuing my own path through the harsh years of COVID, I installed for multiple wrap shops in and around the Portland area as an independent “ghost” installer. Over this time, it showed me who I really was personally as an individual, and woke me up to my own full potential of allowing myself to produce a product that is honest and affordable. Being a one man studio, I knew I could provide the customer with a start to finish interaction and quality product within the wrapping industry.”
